Your responses, however, reflect how you treat your customers in person though. NOT HAPPY - especially since I could use the computer with them but couldnt look down to paper or up across the room - AND the reading portion of my other glasses still use eye strain.Id call it an anomaly, but the SAME thing happened to my husband - he cant see well with the glasses he got and was not offered a solution.SUGGESTION TO THE OFFICE - avoid debating the customers who posts reviews. Chalking it up to my age as the reason my eye sight could no longer be corrected with a single pari, I went ahead and ordered lenses just for the computer, using some old frames to save $. told me I would need a separate pair of glasses for computer use, as Id never be able to get good vision for distance, computer, and reading in one pair of glasses (again - this has not been problem for me ever). (Note, this has happened with my previous optometrist, and they happily re-measured the lines on lenses where the prescription lines blend and ordered replacements.) NOT SO with this practice - when I went back to the office, after a few days adjustment period, the dr. BUT - when I got my glasses (blended lenses), I found that I wasnt able to read my computer screen nor read without tilting my head in awkward positions. I received helpful assistance with selecting frames, etc. The optometrist is funny/quirky, which I can see from the review doesnt resonate well with all customers, but I thought he was funny. I wanted to give my business to our new neighborhood business. You should have better customer service and be aware that you are serving people with feelings and you dont know their financial status or what their bills are.Needless to say next year I will sadly be looking for a new optometrist Not everyone can afford to pay steep prices for glass lenses.3. My mom always told me if you are going to do something for someone to be nice about it.2. I finally confessed that I didnt have money to pay expensive prices, which was why I went where I went.1. Saying bad things about the place I had the lenses made (I won the frames in a raffle). But the owner begrudingly agreed to check them, telling me I should have gone to the people who made the glasses. If they didnt want to they should have said no. Then, I went back to them after getting my eyeglasses elsewhere to see if they would check the prescription of the eyeglasses. They hassled me about this at the office after my exam (I thought we had it worked out when I left), and then called me the next day for the money. Surprise, my medical doesnt pay for eye exams, but my vision insurance does. First they took both my medical and vision insurance and tried to charge through my medical (even though I told them not to), and then wanted me to pay $85. However, the owners are rude and have no empathy for others. He is funny and has a good personality, as well as being knowledgable about optometry. I always go here for my eye exam as I really like Dr.
